Composite veneers using the injection moulding technique
The injection technique of making composite veneers is an indirect-direct, minimally invasive technique, because in most cases, it does not require tooth preparation. If necessary, the preparation is reduced to a minimum, emphasising the preservation of the hard dental tissues. The modern concept of making such restorations includes several phases – from the design to the clinical procedure. Each phase is equally essential for the final result to meet all aesthetic and functional requirements. This lecture aims to show the advantages of the injection technique through cases from clinical practice and to point out the importance of an individual approach to each patient and each smile – with that approach only can the top aesthetic results be achieved.
